guys rich already got back to me and said he will ship my parts out asap , what a great guy and company . if i could get half of the service form the venders at work i would have alot of time to crawl. he got back to me in ten minutes :rkn: we need more guys like rich in this sport.

guys ,after i broke in the losi cleaned and relube ran 2 battery packs out of it and now it free wheels. i didnt think worn gears did that.

If it isn't the shafts, check the worms. If they wern't meshed correctly, they could be bad. Not sur with the Losi.

ok backup it still crawls up and down rocks , it acts normal but it will coast.

well i turn the drag brake back on and it seem to be just fine. i didnt think this work that way.

not too familiar with worm gears, but from what i do now and hear, it should not free wheel or coast. something doesn't sound right.

Tim, unplug the battery and push the rig, if it rolls, something is wrong. If it doesn't then check your Esc and recalibrate it. Being that it seems to work with drag set, I am thinking that it may be sending throttle just enough to let it look like it is free wheeling.

well i turn off the drag brake and check the trim it seem ok, ill reset the mm now.

Will it roll with all power disconnected? That is the key.

no , and you cant turn the wheels by hand. rich send me all new gears and axles, the slipper seem fine this just dose"nt make cents.

Well i just took the losi off its perch for the first time in almost a year. Cleaned off all the dust and thought it was time to change the body and look it over for the upcoming winter series. I was thinking:hmmm:, am i the only shafty left:lol:

The plus side is that you can also run it in Sportsman if you don't use the dig.
