The spur gear was hitting the rear top links, so they got new bent links I made to mount outboard...The driveshaft lengths changed front and rear so new driveshafts were welded up to fit....The front hit the skid plate hard, so a sizable inlet was cut in to make clearance for it....SDS Super 300 CVD's were installed front and rear with hardened 43/13 diff gearsalso front and rear.....and a paralell plug was made to run 3s power with double the mah......All of this, and one more change....The pitbulls are gone, and RC4WD 2.2 Boggers wrapped around Mayhem wheels finished out the project. The end result.......Wayyyyy more wicked than the HH55t handwound on 6s!!!!! I freakin love it!!!!!!!
3S is way smarter. Only thing I would really be concerned with is the Puller in muddy water. They do not like it at all. Water isn't the issue. It's the open comm that doesn't like to be friendly. May want to look into some Outerwears SC Filters to put over it to at least keep some of the dirt out.

    Can't wait to see it.

One thing Pappy...make sure you keep tabs on the heat. Early one in the production of those motor filters, I was testing them for Outerwears.

I was getting high temps on a Traxxas Motor. It will keep the dirt to a minimum but it also restricts some air.

I would only run it if I knew I was going in water. If not, let it breath.

        Just my two cents.

My rig was IMO performing horribly in this comp, with COG being too high, winch issues, and traction issues. She just got a pretty serious makeover, and will be leaner and meaner next comp. Now I am so pumped to put her to the test!!!

Figured I should elaborate on the leaner and meaner.

Basically, she got the pitbulls on the mega wide Hot Racing wheels that I started with,(Had to repurchase new because the last set was sold off already....). The mod shaved approximately 18oz.. Then some suttle suspension tweaking, as it rides about . 250 from full compression now to get her sqatted down but will drop out over holes and such nicely. Hot glue in the spring cups to do two things...Absorb a nasty hit, and make the coils ride with the cups at full extension. Winch got 50lb Spiderwire with a rock sleeve to protect it made from shrink tubing.

Oh, and reinstalled the shifters, and passenger side seat dislodged at the last comp. During that time I took time out to notice all of the new "Scale Damage" added to the body work and roof panels. A sure sign of fun being had!!!

Parts are starting to trickle in for my Class 3. Reading about all of your "versions" and learning from your findings. I think you guys will like what I have coming...

The rigs actually drove on that snot covered ground better than anyone walked.

You didn't stay to see Bob start on a nice slide down the hill, good thing Coles was there to grab him. Someone my size would have just slid down with him.

I'm constantly surprised on how you don't break stuff. I think every maker of the parts on your drivetrain should sponsor you as R&D.
