DRC's Class 2 1.9 TJ build

Ok I'm in the process of gathering parts for my class 2 TJ. Hopefully done for the Bantam Jeep festival.

This is what I'm planning:

Jeep TJ Hardbody - (in house)
x-trail chassis - (in house)
3 link front w/panhard bar - (in house)
4 link rear - (in house)
90 mm shocks
lighting system
RC4WD 1.9 Irok's (in house

)
Axial 1.9 beadlocks - (in house)
RC4WD Tough Armor Winch Bumper with Grill Guard
RC4WD Tough Armor Spare Tire Carrier
AX10 tranny
3 Racing winch (in house)
35t motor
Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL

Sounds like the start of a good build Del! Hopefully I'll be able to get back on mine tonite. Looks like I could actually get home early enough to do something other than Go to bed!

Ok I've made some progress on this project

Chassis is assembled links are built and I was digging through my stuff and found a set of traxxas big bore shocks.
I opted for a droop setup for now using the big bores and internal springs. I may swap these out for some 90mm scale shocks at some point

Biggest progress so far is that my 1.9 Irok's showed up yesterday, these tires so far have been everything that they were billed as, sticky and awesome detail

They were easy to mount up and I can't wait to get them on the ground.

Pretty much every night I fall asleep while tinkering

I will get pics tonight for sure of where I'm at. (Still need to plan that trip to Dad's hobby Shop

)

I cannot wait until Bantam to see all these awesome Jeep builds. I know of a couple that are being built on the QT...

I won't expose them right now...
