  • Fried Ham BBQ

    Ingredents:

    1 lb deli style ham, chipped
    1/2 cup diced onion
    2/2 cup diced green pepper
    sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    (I'm guessing at the amounts below, I just put it in till it looks right)
    1 cup Heinz Ketsup
    1/2 tsp yellow mustard
    1 tbs hot sauce (I prefer Red Devil) you could substitute 1/2 cup diced hot pepper.

    Heat a cast iron skillet on high for about 5 min, turn heat to medium.
    Melt butter and saute onions and peppers till well glazed.
    Turn the heat back up and brown the ham along with the onions and peppers.
    Mix in the ketsup, mustard and hot sauce and stir into the fried ham.
    Keep on med/high heat till it thickens.
    Add sugar to taste
    Add more hot sauce to taste.

    Serve on toasted semi hard rolls

    I use the same recipe for my sloppy joes.
