i truely hate to say this about a kid that young, but he needs locked up. grandma isn't going to help. i think a good juvie stint is in order for this kid.

only downside to that is, it will either scare him straight, or just make hime worse when he gets out...

its a shame. unfourtunitly it stem from the parents like grandma says that all he has seen. i think the world would be a much better place if you actually had to pass some sort of test or evaluation before having children. i realize that that would never happen and its unfair to tell someone they cant have children but at some point something needs to be done.

I second that one...I had friends of mine that could not have kids. They are loving people that were dealt a bad card. They started the adoption process. There were more tests and investigations on them than you can imagine.
The bad part is that anyone can, after a couple drinks and 2 mins, have a kid.

This is pretty common behavior for kids in the hood, most of white American just doesn't see it until it's on the news. There isn't much hope for most of these kids.

I know a guy that owns a self serve car wash, he had a 8 year old try to break into one of his vending machines. Then a few days later, the kid destroyed his ATM machine (thousands of dollars of damage) trying to steal money. Here's the good part, the kid knew that there are surveillance cameras. It gets better, guess what the police did. Nothing, but take a police report. The owner knew who the kid was, the kid lived right across the street from the car wash. The owner called the police when he saw the kid, but the police wouldn't come and arrest him. They said nothing will happen if they arrested and charged him, so it wasn't worth it.

This kind of stuff happens every single day in the hood.

i would beleive this.

i've also heard the supposedly street gangs nowdays are recruiting kids this young to do their dirty work for them, cause they get into little or no leagal trouble about it....

its all part of cheating the system, there is no recourse for any of it so they have nothing to fear, but or government thinks its ok!

higher powers to be?? you think these kids give a darn about god? i assume thats what your are talking about.

it will all catch back up to them one day, but till then they are nothing but a thorn in everyones side.

or the higher powers to be being the gang members later in life that will enevetably take their life.

you know its like the guy that just got shot up in mount oliver, the guy shoots at a police dog killing it, then when the cops deadly force to defend themselves it becomes a racial incident.. it is never the fault of the perpatrator, its always the cops.
maybe there needs to be a return to stocks in the square and public humiliation for offenses.
