    [attachment=6:1a8ecxnp]kyoshorockforce007.jpg[/attachment:1a8ecxnp]

    Kyosho has released some more information about the long awaited Kyosho rock crawler, apparently to be known as the 2.2 Rock Force. According to the translation posted by RCeasy it sounds as if the Rock Force will be available in kit form and will require a 3 channel radio system and 27t motor. It also looks like Kyosho will offer an optional high speed worm drive gearset to raise top speed by 50%. The full translation and pics available after the jump.

    With the Rock Force KYOSHO moving into the new world trend of crawlers. Crawlers have the property that they are extremely geländegängig and on almost every terrain in the truest sense of the word adapt. This crawler, the pendulum of axes, which allow a maximum entanglement.

    The base of the Rock Force is a torsionssteifes aluminum-frame chassis with chassis pursuit of hardened aluminum pipe. In connection with four high-quality Öldruckstoßdämpfern, axes, the pendulum spring so vast distances and maximum entanglement values. The power transmission is generously sized cardan shafts on the shuttle routes.

    In the shuttle axes sits one worm gear, for the extremely high torque loads. Right on the front axle is the steering servo placed to play a direct and Anlenkung to the front wheels.

    For the drive of rock Force 540s is a high torque electric motor needed, for example ORI25028. The engine is centered in the chassis and derives its driving force of an efficient gear in the drive train.

    The large balloon tires, have a hochgriffiges profile, with the Rock Force maximum grip on any terrain. The soft material properties of the tire, the tire surface perfectly to the ground adjust.

    The transparent Lexankarosserie is the real crawlers copied and must be painted from the inside. Here you can find your creativity free rein.

    Optional Features
    In connection with a 3-channel RC-conditioning and an additional servo, numerous special features in the model used:

    • decoupling of the rear axle, powertrain
    • blocking the diffs on the rear axle
    • 4WDS: steering of front and rear axle, jointly or individually
    • 50% more gear translation by optional HiSpeed-worm gear

    The option 4WDS alone is only available and can not coexist with the decoupling and the blocking of the rear axle can be used. Depending on the equipment of the RC-conditioning, the decoupling features and blocking of the channel further optimized software.

    Overall, tapping into the Rock Force with the whole fascination of the crawler world. Follow the urge to constantly discover new routes to and impossible obstacles to overcome. With the Rock Force, you are perfectly equipped to overcome obstacles, where other crawler already helplessly on the roof lie!

        yeah, it looks pretty cool! those axles, at least from these pics, look a lot like rockwells, and from the description it is even a worm gear axle.

          Same thing I'm thinking. They look a little thick in the tube area tho. But the added driveshaft clearance looks awesome. SHAFTIES ROCK
