The rework

Well after doing a 3 day build to get the SW2 up and running and doing well with it I am off to a good start on the rebuild of the 2.2. Pics will come tomorrow after I get some more done and get them up loaded, but as of now she is a roller.

On to the tech specs:

Sinastir Crawlers SCP chassis
R2D with teflon bushing
7T Cobalt Puller
8x 2/3A battery
645 steering servo (for now)
??? servo for dig (whatever I had lying around)
MSD dished AL wheels wrapped in M3 Moabs with Red Kreepys all around
Super Rooster ESC
Traxxas Pede rears for shocks, until I go get my Losi's
Rear only has High clearance delrin links
Losi Grappler body (mounted just above bottom of frame...I learned that the had way last year) which needs more trimming as its too wide still

Trust me I will get them just want to get the expense check in as that is the extra money covering those shocks .


I got to rework the front suspension geometry as it...hmm..Blows. I was rushing to get to roller status but I know what needs to change. The rear seems to be very dialed in, which is suprising. The laid down shocks dont seem to be as bad as I was orginally expecting them to be.

As I said, pics are on the camera at home. It was late and I didn't want to take the time to move the pics from the camera to the computer, then to photobucket, then on here

How is this a build ? I'm just posting up some 2.2 tech, not a hey look at me build up my truck It's already built too Just might be getting reworked that's all

She lives Finally after about 4 days of working it runs under its own power again.

Long list to finish up, but it is all small stuff. After fighting the rear shock mounts, it was the driveshafts that gave me fits. Now its down to a final once over of all the hardware, adjusting the dig servo, and dialing in the suspension.

The Losi's are awesome as is the 7T puller on 8 cells.

This is true.

Finished cutting out the body to fit the chassis last night. Now I just need to place some more lead on the front axle, to help balance it back out.

I think I have the suspension issues mostly figured out so when I go home I can get it resolved. Also figured out where to put 2 more chassis braces in to stiffen the chassis up.

Will be good to go on Wed for an Aids test run. Much like the super, she has cowbell and torque to boot.
