  • Removing paint from Lexan

Has anybody tried the oven cleaner method to remove paint from Lexan. Or does anyone have a better method?

Oven Cleaner? For removing anodizing, or making a lexan sculpture.

Why do ypu need to remove paint?

Maybe contact John P. I bet he will know.

      Thanks,

I am thinking of repainting the Roc Pleazer. I read about brake fluid doing a good job. I'll have to question John P. I'm either repainting or dropping a new body on. After all of the work under the hood I want to clean her up

I'll post up the mods and try to get a pic up. It looks the same to the naked eye ............ But is very different

Use Brake Fluid. IT works well, just make sure you rewash the body very throughly afterwards. Did that to a CJ-8 body I had.

Thanks! I'll have to decide on a new paint scheme.
