  • INEXPENSIVE SOLDERING STATION

well, here is my low dollar soldering station.

being that i am no wiring/soldering guru by ANY means, i couldn't justify spending the cash on an expensize soldering station. so i gathered a few things up from around the house, and made my own!

    B.O.M. :
    ONE ~ WIRE COAT HANGER
ONE ~ TROUSER HANGER WITH CLIPS
ONE ~ OLD TUPPERWARE/RUBBERMADE/GLADWARE CONTAINER (ABOUT THE SIZE OF A SPONGE)
    ONE ~ SPONGE
ONE ~ 40W PENICL SOLDERING IRON
ONE ~ PIECE OF SCRAPWOOD 1" THK x WHATEVER SURFACE SIZE YOU WOULD LIKE
NAILS ~ SAME SIZE AS WIRE IN HANGERS (FOR MAKING NICE TIGH HOLES FOR THE HANGER WIRE)
GLUE ~ GORRILLA SNOT (OR WHATEVER YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE HANDY)

well, that's all you need. now here's some pics to show you how it goes together

    (mandatory flex shot..... )

and that's it guys and gals!!! a nice soldering work station!!!
