Well here is the story. My wife has little interest in this hobby. So I had a thought...What would make her want to run...build her truck.



So here we go....

Double J Trailbeater Chassis
RC4WD T-Rex 60's
RC4WD Rockstars 2.2
RC4WD Rockstompers or G-Hawgs (Not sure yet)
LED's
Axial Tranny

Good start.... but where is the pics showing that the Avy doesn't fit on the TB chassis? And I am still green with envy over those trexes!!

Yes, that and now I can see why you are working with Double J on a custom Beater chassis. What's the wheelbase on the body?

Update...

Cut and shut my G-Hawgs to resemble a TSL Radial (Sort of)...mounted them on the wheels and onto the T-Rex 60's...

Not going to work. They are too tall for the Avy Wheelwells. Just like the 1:1...the wheelwells go straight down. This limits the size of tire you can mount on the real or scale rig.

Back to the drawing board...

I'm getting the 1.9 feeling...

Not doing a thing until I get the chassis and suspension together.

I am tired of buying things and then not using them...they seem to go in the dark hole somewhere...

Avy's been put on the back burner. Delay in chassis. So going another direction but I will keep you posted on the status. She is not going away...just pushed back a little.
