This will be her build...she wanted to build one after the CR-01...

Plan is for it to be stock...maybe replace tires but not sure...they have a cool tread...

No marathon builds here...


It started out with a test...

She opened Screw bag B and it looked like confetti on New years...screws, grub screws, washers, etc...flying everywhere.

I stayed calm but the heat was rising...kept saying to myself breath...

OK...here is where we are...Building it to spec...not locked diffs, etc. Afterwards I will decide what needs done.

I have a feeling this one is going to take a while...

It took us a half hour to find all the screws that flew everywhere...

my advice is put a different set of tires on it and replace the moter and ESC right off.. also lock it up, at least in the rear....
The Jeep I have deffinatly needs different rubber as the stock tamiya wheels stink on ice.. also the stock tamiya esc doesnt have any braking ability whatsoever.. first run almost ended in disaster due to the freewheel effect of letting go of the throttle..

Thanks for the heads up...but I want this to be a learning process for her. I want her to run it stock and then decide what needs done to make it capable.

Hey dad you wanna trade the unassembled rear and front diffs for assembled ones????
Cant seem to get mine open to lock them up!
damn tiny soft headed screws!!
