  • BUILD Large Scale Jeep

It has early this year when I got the chassis.

The chassis was made by Hulk for 2JSC, a replica of the Sparkle at Pirate4X4.
2JSC said, he had really wanted to build her up as a large scale rig.

Here's a mock-up of an idea. Please let me know what you think.

Hey Bro, what you giggling about!

Sure took the longest to start building. I myself am gigling, as well -- just imagining what the reaction of the people will be when they see Ivy the Green Monster launch and do wheelies.

Ivy is now a roller, and just patiently waiting on my replacement Monster ESC from Castle. Can't wait to get her running.

Thanks Sincerely for your kind attention and joining-in giggling.

                  I totally Agree!

Will have to do get some Custom Wheels/Scale Tires -- even the 2.2 Rok Lox looks small.

I'll also need 12mm hex for the TTR CVD's. I'm using the 14mm aluminum hexes, which I got from an extremely cool guy from here

Did a short shakedown today, and these tires totally hooked. Not for the oversized looking wheels -sure was a crowd drawer.

Unless, I drop in a set of Silver Blackwells under these ...

Have now the TTR 12mm hexxes, thanks to Renoirbud. Tried 2.2 and the chassis/TXT axles are too wide for the 2.2 Rok Lox. Settled for the Nova's Ark Specials since I love how it rolled with the Cobalt Puller - 4-wheel steer, amazingly fun and quite the unstoppable.

Received a care package from Castle, and plugging-in more Power.

After making sure that all settings via Castle-Link are A-OK, I got some juice pumping into the system. And guess what, I caught myself giggling like a little school girl

Oh Man, did I honestly totally forget how exhilarating 1/8 POWER can be.
I did manage to break a gear/cracked a housing the last time. Thanks to some RCKRWLR upgrades, I got a better chance that it won't happen again, ... at least not within the first minute.

Still is a work-in-process. With some changes to the ColeworX Project, I thought the spare Blackwell was more suitable here.
