  • Where are the points???

What happened? I thought you played by the rules? I clearly had at least 6 progress points on the 2nd run? 2 + 40 - 6 progress points = 36.

DNF (Did Not Finish): (40pts) are given anytime a driver cannot complete a course for any reason.
(Timed-Out, Point-Out, Vehicle not Repairable, Went Home …etc) Progress points are awarded for each
    gate completed.

You are beating a dead horse...Busted explained that the USRCCA rules are a guideline and last year when we started the club we decided how we were going to score.

Your score is not going to change. You cannot be eligible for our Point Series due to belonging to another club. You are more than willing to run with us at any GTG's or comps but cannot become a member due to being one with another club.

First things first... It CLEARLY states in the rules that they are a guideline and can be tailored to fit a club's needs .

Second, try to use a little more tact in your posts as I am pretty sure myself and few others on here have been doing this a whole lot longer than you have.

Third, if you are going to quote the rules, read all of them not just the sections that bring about a change for your benifit .

Fourth, what do series points mean to you, as they are only for paid club members?

Fifth, why be so strict about the rules with us, when your guys' Purple Cow rules are so far beyond anything resembling the USRCCA rules it is funny . You really can't come and bash how we do things, when you and your club do not even follow 5% of the real rules.

I will say this once more, listen up:

WPaC modified the rules last year to fit us. Progress points were only awarded after completing a course. This is how we started the year off this year, and it is how we will finish the year off.

You seemed like a cool dude, but seriously, what are you trying to gain by calling the club, and myself liars and cheats ? John and I have explained how the rules work, and we have explained why you can not receive series points. What more is there to understand?

This wasn't the Purple Cow, and it wasnt Nationals, it was WPaC sanctioned comp.

The rules were laid out at the begining of the comp. We do follow USRCCA rules, as do other clubs that we compete with, however we all have slight tweaks to the rules to fit our clubs.

There has been some confusion as to if you were part of a club or not, as several officers have heard differing answers. Just lay it out straight to us. If you a not a member of another club, you still would not receive series points as you are not a paid member. To become a member takes attendance at 2 competitions and paying dues.

Now, no one said we didnt want you as a member or that we didnt want you to compete with us. If that is how you read it, then I think you are misunderstood. Much like your first post in each thread has come across as accusative and coarse towards the officers, the rules chair, and our club in general. Maybe I have misread what you are trying to say.

This big sticking point is, the rules were outlined at the comp and we answered your question in a prior thread. No questions came up at the comp prior to it starting and no questions were left unanswered in your prior thread. But it still seems to be an issue with you that we do not follow the rules to a "T".

Things will be outlined better at the next comp in light of this situation, and a few changes will be underway. You are more than welcome to come to the next comp, and to join the club if you wish.

          But,

The rule will remain unchanged for the season: If you DNF for any reason NO progress points will be awarded.

For this season this is NOT up for debate, and is a closed and very dead issue.

Sorry, that is the first time you told me about the DNF for any reason rule, now it is clear. What you told me was if you pointed out you get points... But i am over it now that i am aware of the DNF rule. I am not a member of any club as of now. WVRCcrawlers is just a website my roommate made so people in WV can talk about rock crawling. We do have GTGs and stuff and the rules may be a joke but it is not up to me. There are no fees and i dont evan know more than half the members as they are from all over the state. 85% of the people that come to the GTGS are not members of WVRCCrawlers.

Thanks for the chance to run in official comps.
See you at ohio pyle with $20 bucks in hand.
